秋の終りだというのにジメジメ蒸し暑い。

乾燥のエアーズロックからこちらに来ただけに、よけい強烈に湿気を感じた。

タクシーの運ちゃんに

「初めて来たんだけど、暑くて驚いたよ」と言ったら、「今日はクールデイだよ」と、笑いながら返された。

クールが蒸し暑いならホットの意味は・・・

When I went out of the terminal building I was attacked by strong moisture. Though it was the end of autumn I felt muggy. I felt it too much because I had come from dried Ayers Rock.

I said to a taxi driver "I came to here first time, it;s very hot I was surprised"

"It's cool day" he said with laughing.
